In this role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and Express, take ownership of a reporting service built on Python and FastAPI, while also contributing to frontend development using React and Next.js. You will work within a microservices architecture alongside ML engineers and the product team to deliver reliable, high-quality software at scale. Experience: 3–5 Years in relevant experiencesSalary: BDT 80K to BDT 150K Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and Express</li><li>Design and implement scalable RESTful APIs</li><li>Own and maintain a reporting service built on Python and FastAPI</li><li>Build and consume message queues for async background processing across services</li><li>Collaborate with frontend and ML teams to ensure efficient data flow and integration</li><li>Contribute to frontend development using React and Next.js</li><li>Implement and manage frontend state using Redux or Zustand</li><li>Build and maintain responsive UI components using TailwindCSS</li><li>Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to manage and optimize data storage</li><li>Monitor and optimize system performance and troubleshoot backend issues</li><li>Support integrations with third-party services and internal tools</li><li>Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows</li><li>Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices</li></ul> Required Skills &amp; Experience:<ul><li>Strong experience with JavaScript and TypeScript</li><li>Strong experience with Node.js and Express</li><li>Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs</li><li>Solid knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL and MongoDB)</li><li>Working knowledge of Python and FastAPI</li><li>Experience with React.js and Next.js</li><li>Familiarity with Git / Version Control systems</li><li>Experience writing Unit and Integration tests using Jest or similar tools</li><li>Experience working with Docker</li></ul>Preferred Skills:<ul><li>Experience working with Message Queues such as RabbitMQ or similar</li><li>Experience with Redis for caching and session management</li><li>Experience with microservices architecture</li><li>Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows</li><li>Understanding of software design patterns and architecture</li><li>Experience with state management tools such as Redux or Zustand</li><li>Experience building modern UI using TailwindCSS</li></ul> Nice-to-Have Skills:<ul><li>Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP</li><li>Knowledge of performance tuning and system optimization</li><li>Experience collaborating in cross-functional product teams</li></ul>
