Assalamualaikum everyone. I am Laila Alam Luva. I have completed my B.Sc. from Jahangirnagar University and I was also a student of Road to SDET(Batch-4). When I was about to complete my graduation, I started to focus on the SQA field and started to learn by myself through youtube videos and other resources. I continued my learning but I felt a lack of confidence and it was just like grasping a concept without understanding something like that. Then after completing my graduation, I was searching for effective course guidelines. Actually, I needed a mentor who could guide me in a proper way. At that time, I randomly found this course(Road to SDET) and it worked as a blessing for me. I found a mentor like Salman vhai whom I was actually looking for. Just after passing one week during the course, I started to realize the change in myself. I found confidence in myself that my chosen path might not be the wrong inshaAllah. This is because of the organized way of running the course, the top 5 declaration process, the helping mentality of the team, and of course the appreciation from Salman vhai. I successfully completed the full course and did all the assignments and projects.

Enrolling in Road to SDET was one of the best decisions I made for my career in software testing. Before joining, I had a basic understanding of testing, but this program helped me fully develop my automation skills and significantly sharpen my manual testing abilities as well. The curriculum is hands-on and industry-relevant, covering all types of testing—from functional and regression to performance, UI/UX, and API testing. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable, always supportive, and ensure you not only understand the concepts but also know how to apply them in real-world scenarios. One of the standout aspects of Road to SDET is its focus on building job-ready skills. Thanks to this program, I successfully landed a position at Upay (a subsidiary of UCB Bank) as an SQA Engineer. The confidence and expertise I gained here played a crucial role in that achievement. There are many training institutes out there, but Road to SDET goes above and beyond. It’s not just a course—it’s a complete career transformation path. If you're serious about becoming an SDET, this is the best of the best. Highly recommended!

Not only the testing fundamentals, in software industry level, how the testing is done, that also taught attentively at Road to SDET. Students of roadtosdet are in all the top level software companies of Bangladesh. So there is a huge opportunity for job recommendation in big companies. All their classes are intuitive and very organized. If one does their classes regularly, attentively & also practices, at the end of the course they will have a good in-depth knowledge about the testing and getting a job will be much easier for them. Their mentors Salman Rahman & Pollab Ahmed. These two guys are truly gentleman. Their teaching style is so unique & easy to understand. Especially Salman Rahman vai, whom I consider as my elder brother with 8+ years of experience in the testing industry, has a deep knowledge of testing, whether it's manual or automation. I have recently been attending the "Road To SDET" course by Salman Bhaiya and I can confidently say that it has already exceeded all my expectations. If there's one word to describe our teacher, it would be "exceptional." From day one, it is evident that our instructor isn't just an expert in the field of software testing and test automation but also genuinely passionate about sharing their knowledge with us. The curriculum is thoughtfully designed, covering a wide range of SQA topics, including test planning, test cases design, automation, and defect management. The practical exercises and hands-on projects allowed us to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios, enhancing our problem solving skills and boosting our confidence as SQA professionals.

He never hesitates to solve any problem in great detail, explaining everything in a very practical way. Even in long classes, he makes sure we understand every topic clearly. His patience in answering everyone's questions at any time of day is truly inspiring. He’s taught us how to think with curiosity, trigger creativity, and analyze topics deeply. The lectures and assignments have shown us good examples of these skills. Other mentors Jamil Kawsher and Pollab Ahmed have also been a big help with their support. As we approach the end of this course, I'd like to share some feedback. I've explored various manual and automation testing courses on different online platforms and often felt overwhelmed by the heavy focus on theory. SDET brought a refreshing change with its practical and hands-on project demonstration. The hands-on project demonstrations have been a standout feature. These sessions were a lifeline for someone like me with limited practical experience. Salman and Pollab vai not only clarified complex concepts but also boosted my confidence. The teaching quality is exceptional. Instructors are not only knowledgeable but also remarkably supportive and understanding. They've created an environment that encourages questions, making the learning process engaging and enjoyable. When i was preparing my first assignment i was Super confident like yeah everything on time and perfect 🤣. When result came out then i realised i have a biggest gap. Then my confidence level fall down like top to bottom. Then i try to find out the gap. Explore the system again. Durning API assignment i found out more about system and the gap. API testing classes were clear and smooth. Thanks to @Shouvik vaiya. At first Jmeter felt a little bit disturbing and hard to understand. After 3rd class it felt like "ok not that much bad ". Jmeter assignment was amazing. I never experienced how database server connection works with system. After creating user i was facing some issue with csv file. Phone number were incorrect format. I had do delete all users. Then i performed some sql operation. Search user, delete them, update them. After otp request i searched otp on database. It was great! For both assignment i didn’t directly prepare my assignment. At first did some basic work and performed everything on hand which presented in class. After explore and practice everything prepared assignment. When an instructor says that i am worried about your job replacement, and reform course just to prepare us as best candidate it gives a peace! Really Thank you @Salman Rahman Vaiya. You are a great instructor. ----------------- Classes, notes, exam, assignment everything is organised. Most important things is Supportive environment.I didn’t expect that all vaiya will reply on every question and every problem. It feels like doing a job not only a course. Hands on work experience is the greatest point here. When i log in to Discord i feel like a SQA world. I did many course earlier but i didn’t feel this much free before. It’s amazing to learn here. Perfect, as I am totally new to this path, I understand the things very easily, and also thanks to Salman Bhaiya's real-life examples.❤️ ------------------- Step-1: AI feeding • First, I fed Claude AI the whole manual testing part slides from 1-6, and also some free resources I got from online • Then I pushed Claude to its maximum limit to justify whether it understands the manual testing flow • And ask it for a review Step-2: Self-completing • For the Q1,Q2,Q7,Q8.Q9,Q10 I just followed the lectures of Salman bhaiya's and semi-modified it by myself • Read the whole assignment 3 times and take help from Claude to find out precise money flow, then try to figure out and write basic test cases for the questions Q3, Q4, Q5, Q6 (it gives me 60-65% of completion) Step-3: AI Help • For the Theory question, I used AI for understanding the concepts. • For Testing part I followed the template given by Salman Bhaiya and integrated Claude's mindset (because Claude knows the pattern of testing, as I have fed it with the slides), then modified the answer with my understanding, adding more logical bugs that I have missed. Then transport it into the Excel sheets….That's the method I followed.. [N:B: I have used the pure FREE CLAUDE, nothing else] @Salman Rahman Thanks for the guideline, didn't go for fancy style, just followed the lectures as you said..

Road to SDET is a solid, career-focused roadmap that guides learners from testing basics to advanced automation. It's useful for beginners or QA professionals transitioning into SDET roles. It starts from fundamentals (testing concepts, SDLC) and gradually moves to coding (usually JS), automation tools, and frameworks. It emphasizes real-world projects, which helps build practical skills instead of just theory.
